Samurai Cathy vs. Tina the Lesbian

August 12, 2008

As Samurai Cathy and Mikka’s relationship heads past the seven month mark, the time has come for Mikka to introduce his beau to another person in his circle of friends: Tina the Lesbian.

Mikka had put this off for a while for one reason: Tina is good friends with Cathy’s archenemy Ninja Vicki, more so than the rest of us. They hang out a lot, they have Sunday brunch regularly, they violate music copyright laws by burning copies of CD’s and MP3s and exchanging them. How would Tina handle meeting Samurai Cathy, the blood nemesis of her best friend Ninja Vicki?

We decided to find out down at the Bass to Bass, our local fishing-themed watering hole.

“Tina, this is Samurai Cathy,” Mikka says, introducing the lesbian to his girlfriend.

“Nice to meet you,” Tina the Lesbian says to Samurai Cathy.

“Nice to meet you too,” says Samurai Cathy.

Mikka’s eyes ping-pong between the two girls, the fireworks he was expecting not going off. “Um… Tina, you do know Samurai Cathy and Ninja Vicki are enemies, right?”

“Yes, I do,” says Tina. “But she’s also your girlfriend, and she makes you happy. And that’s what’s important.”

“Oh, well, good,” says Mikka.

“So Cathy, do you have any single female samurai friends?” Tina asks.

“No, sorry,” says Samurai Cathy.

“I would have liked you more if you said you did,” says Tina. “What is it about women with swords that causes them not to have any single girlfriends? Vicki doesn’t have any either.”

“Well, in my case Vicki killed a bunch of them,” says Cathy.

“So you approve of Samurai Cathy as my girlfriend?” Mikka says to Tina.

“Yeah, she seems cool,” says Tina. “She’d just be a lot cooler if she had some single friends who were willing to experiment.”

Mikka thinks the same thing, but if he were to ever vocalize that wish he’s pretty sure Samurai Cathy would kick his ass. And not in a sexy way either.

  1. Mikka smart guy, knows when to not say what hes thinking.

  2. I think she’d do more than just kick his ass
